Last Monday when we had to stop reading because class was about to end I predicted that him and his girlfriend weren't going to last because even though they made an arangement to make it work I just have a feeling it is not going to work. I was kinda right becasuse now he is starting to think of Beth. Who's Beth?. Beth is a women that Mark is IN LOVE with he can't get her out of her mind. He has had a crush on her since 6th grade and his crush for her is never going to go away. He would use a payphone just to call her and try to call her but everytime he would she picked up he chocked and hung up he just couldn't talk to her he was too shy.
